PRICE – Vera Doleatti Wilson, age 96, died July 28, 2004 at her home in Price.
She was born June 15, 1908 in Sunnyside to Secendo (Joe) and Catherine Panicco Doleatti. Married James E. Wilson Jr., July 6, 1931 in Price. He died Feb. 14, 1992.
Member of the Catholic Church and lifelong resident of Carbon County.
In her earlier days, Vera enjoyed fishing with her husband. She loved the outdoors, especially spending countless hours gardening and caring for her beautiful flowers and yard.
Vera’s true love was for her family and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survived by son-in-law, John (Jolene) Healy, Glendale, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Sherri (John) Wheeler, Mesa, Ariz.; Theresa Woolary, Glendale, Ariz.; Carrie Healy, Price; S. John (Nancy) Healy, Glendale, Ariz.; eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; and many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; husband; daughter, Dolores W. Healy; brothers, Danny and Tony Doleatti; and sister, Marie McLaughlin.
Funeral service Saturday, July 31, 1 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Vigil service Friday evening, 7 p.m., at Mitchell Funral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Friday and Saturday one hour prior to services. Committal service, Price City Cemetery.


Tain Clark


PRICE – Tain Theron Clark, 89, loving spouse, father and grandfather, passed away July 24, 2004 in Price.
He was born July 23, 1915 in Altonah to Alvah and Nora Mecham Clark. He married Nellie Darlene Spencer on Nov. 23, 1936 in Vernal and the couple were later sealed in the Manti LDS Temple.
A member of the LDS Church, Tain and Darlene were temple workers at the Manti LDS Temple for many years.
A farmer at heart, he enjoyed anything to do with horses and cows.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene; children, Betti and Earl Curtis, Salt Lake City; Alva “Smokey” Clark, Theron “Chub” and Vera Clark and Jerry “Muggs” and Valynda Clark, all of Wellington; Connie and Kent Norton, Price; Shirlee and Larry Lopan, Boulder City, Nev.; 29 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by three sisters, Mae Bell, Sandy; Lamar Richins, Colorado; Faye Ross, Nevada; and three brothers, Dave Clark, Vernal; Ray Clark, Henderson, Nev.; and Clarence Clark, Nevada. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Barbara; and six brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, July 28, at the Wellington LDS Stake Center. Burial followed in the Price City Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
