The fountain in front of the College of Eastern Utah Library has been a fixture on campus for nearly three decades. But next years new and returning students will not see it. Monday crews began tearing it down because over the years it has deteriorated to the point that it is almost unusable. The concrete with the stone was leaking and the pumps were almost worn out. Future plans include a revamp of that part of campus in conjunction with planting lawn where the old Reeves Building use to stand. Another large fountain will be erected somewhere else on campus in the future.
