Robert Colzani
PRICE – Robert “Bob” Colzani died Jan.19, 2003 in Nome, Alaska.
He was born Oct. 4, 1932 in Price to John Colzani and Margaret Mary Boland Colzani.
Bob attended grade school and junior high school at Notre Dame School in Price. He attended Abbey High School in Canon City, Colo., and graduated in 1952. Bob graduated from Notre Dame University in 1956 with a degree in business.
He served with the Armed Services in Germany during 1956 to 1958 and left with an honorable discharge.
Bob worked in the sporting goods industry in Salt Lake City and Denver, Colo. He owned and operated GE air-conditioning business in San Diego and also was a real estate developer. He ventured into the gold mining business in Nome, Alaska and the construction business in Thailand.
Bob has no living relatives.
Graveside services will be June 26 at 11 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery, Helper.
Donald Rutledge
PLEASANT GROVE – Donald James Rutledge, 74, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2004, with his family at his side.
He was born April 8, 1930 in Eureka to Ernest L. and Zola Gray Rutledge. He married Leone Olsen on Oct. 28, 1953 in Spanish Fork. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple.
Don grew up in Lehi and attended school there. He and Leone moved to Pleasant Grove in 1958, where they raised their four children.
Don’s love of life was his family, woodworking, and gardening. His grandchildren were his greatest joy and he and Leone spent many days traveling the state to watch them participate in sports and other school events.
He is survived by his wife Leone and four children: Jolene (Floyde) Greenwood, Price; Brent (Marianne) Rutledge, Lehi; Janette (Kay) Fitzgerald, Delta; Karl (Julie) Rutledge, St. George; 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and sister, Lela (Clyde) Averett, Springville. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Glen.
Funeral services were June 23 at the Timpanogos LDS Stake Center. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery.

James Jarvi
PRICE – James Michael Jarvi left us on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 20, 2004, at Castleview Hospital in Price.
James, better known as Mike, was born to Leona Albrectsen Jorgensen Jarvi and John Jarvi on March 20, 1951 in Price. He married Toni Lopez Aug. 8, 1972, later divorced.
A big man with an even bigger heart, “Big Jarv” loved fishing, woodworking, collecting music, and his daily cup of coffee surrounded by his friends. Those friends and his family will always remember him for his great big smile and his ability to make them laugh in any situation. As a child he was known throughout the state for his amazing talent to hit a homerun whenever asked. He moved on from Little League and Pony League and carried his athletic ability to play football in high school as well as softball for the 10 years following.
Upon graduating from Carbon High School in 1969, he began his arduous career in the trucking industry by driving a deliver truck for Price Steam Laundry and moved on to drive for Wycoff in Carbon County. It was at that time he began his vocation with Savage Brothers as a coal truck driver. He later became a supervisor for some of the larger operations for which he won many company awards. He worked for Savage Brothers 17 years. He ended his career by working for Cox Trucking in Price before unofficially “retiring” due to health concerns.
Mike is survived by three children, Stephanie Jarvi-Peterson and her husband James, Salt Lake City; Michael John Jarvi, Price; Kelly JoAnn Jarvi and her fiance, Brandon McArdle; ex-wife and loved friend, Toni VanLinden; brother, Jack Jorgensen and Frank Jorgensen; sister, Karen Jarvi; two grandchildren, Michael James Peterson and Christopher Nelson Peterson. He was preceded in death by father, John Jarvi; mother, Leona Albrectsen Jorgensen Jarvi; and brother, Jerry Jorgensen.
The family would like to extend a special debt of gratitude to the Price city fire/rescue team, Castleview Hospital staff and especially Dr. Gagon and Mike’s nurse in the ICU, Sharon, for her kindness and comforting words in those difficult final hours.
Funeral service Saturday, June 26, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, Price City Cemetery.
