Motorcycle riders and families met in a large tent that was erected in the old Koret’s parking lot for last Sunday’s blessing of the bikes.
The tent was put up by local church members not only for the annual event, but for a special community service that will be presented on June 20. Four churches in the area, the Freedom Christian Fellowship, the Price Community Methodist Church, the Price Christian Chapel and Mission Alliance and New Life Ministries all will close the doors to their regular buildings that day and meet at the site. The tent traveling ministry is headed up by Alan Walz.
“All four ministers of the churches will share the preaching on that day,” says Andrew Lasslo of New Life Ministries. “We are all working to do some things together.”
