Stanley Truman
FERRON – Stanley William Truman, age 64, returned home to his Heavenly Father June 7, 2004 in Provo with his family by is side.
He was born April 23, 1940 in Huntington to Arthur Leslie and Olive Staker Truman. He married Karen Leah Huff Oct. 2, 1959 in the Manti LDS Temple.
He served for 17 years in law enforcement in Salt Lake City, serving as chief of police for South Salt Lake and as a detective for the Salt Lake County Policy Department. He returned to Emery County and has served as justice court judge since 1975.
Stan felt a strong love for the outdoors, camping, fishing, and horseback riding with his family, whom he loved to tease. His quick wit and humor will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
He is survived by wife of 45 years, Karen of Ferron; three children and their spouses, Loretta and Ralph Nielson of Huntington; Rick and Julie Truman of Cleveland; Kaylene and Mike Behling of Ferron; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandsons. Also survived by brothers, Kay and wife, Judy Truman of Huntington; Ronald Robertson of Magna; and many nieces and nephews, all who dearly loved him and by whom he will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by parents; and nephew, Ryan Truman.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 11, 11 a.m., in the Huntington LDS Stake Center. A public viewing will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial, Huntington Cemetery.
Tony Migliaccio
HELPER – Tony Migliaccio, age 78, passed away June 8, 2004 in Price.
Born Aug. 20, 1925 in Grand Junction, Colo., to Thomas and Rosa Guerrie Migliaccio. Married Barbara Jean Steele Aug. 16, 1952 in East Carbon.
Tony was a member of Carbon Lodge 16 F&AM and an honorary life member of Price Elks Lodge 1550. Served in the U.S. Marine Corp during World War II. Longtime employee of Utah Power & Light, where he retired from the Carbon Plant. Tony had a deep love for railroading and he enjoyed working for D&RGW as an engineer. His greatest love was for his family and he will be dearly missed by all.
Survived by loving wife, Barbara Migliaccio, Helper; daughter, Debra (Danny) Howa, Carbonville; sons, Tony Brent Migliaccio, Rangley, Colo.; Mark David (Annette) Migliaccio, South Jordan; brother, Tom (Donna) Migliaccio, Salt Lake; nine grandchildren, Danielle, Deann, Dallas, Derek, Mandy, Amy, Megan, Brittany and Scott; three great-grandchildren, Jessica, Maddix, Corbin; and many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents.
Masonic funeral service Friday, June 11, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to service. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery, Helper. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association.
William Fausett
PRICE – Our beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend, William LeRoy Fausett (Roy), age 83, of Price, passed away June 8, 2004.
He was born Sept. 22, 1920 in Price, to Franklin LeRoy and Elva Olsen Fausett. He married Fern Williams Jan. 27, 1940. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple.
Roy had a great love for his family and friends. He was a very compassionate person, always putting others before himself. Roy never met a stranger. He loved working on cars and riding his horse Stoney. Roy was a member of the Price Elks Lodge 1550 and was a member of the Price Firefighters Association for 40 years.
Survived by son, Kelly (Judy) Fausett; two granddaughters, Kellie (Mike) Lessar and Jody (Mark) Cooper; five great-granddaughters, one great-grandson; sisters, Bertha Sanders and Donna Bean; brothers, Max Fausett and Grant Fausett; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife; daughter, Diane; parents; sisters, Louise Davis and Lucille Palmer; and brother, Bob Fausett.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 12, 11 a.m., at the Fausett Mortuary Chapel. A viewing will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary and also one hour prior to service. Burial, Price City Cemetery.
June Oliveto
PRICE – June Alene Oliveto, age 83, passed away of natural causes on June 7, 2004.
She was born in Helper on Nov. 24, 1920 to George and Bertha Eckstein Spratling. Married Dr. Sam Louis Oliveto June 11, 1943 who preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 1987.
June was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and true friend. We will forever love and miss her.
Survived by oldest daughter, Judith Kelly, Los Angeles, Calif.; two grandchildren, Jessica Loebbecke, Long Beach, Calif.; Samuel Hobi, Stanford, Conn.; and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by youngest daughter, Marilyn Robertson on Aug. 17, 2003.
