The College of Eastern Utah’s Prehistoric Museum is hosting Congressman Jim Matheson on a tour and at a reception on May 15th, from 4 to 5 p.m. Museum Co-director Pam Miller said the reception is free and open to the public and that Matheson will speak, as well as answer questions.
Miller and Dr. Reese Barrick, the museum’s other Co-director and paleontologist, invited Matheson to see two new exhibits: New dinosaur species and archeological and paleontological vandalism.
Prior to the reception, Matheson will receive a tour of the Price River Quarry where fossils representing three new species of dinosaurs were recently discovered
Miller said the reception will be held in the museum. For more information, call Randee at 637-5060.
