Did you see the picture on April 15th’s front page? Did you read the article about our National Guard not coming home in May as they were promised?
My heart goes out to every one of the thousands of young soldiers, both men and women, who keep their focus on “the mission” even though they may be yearning to see and hold their loved ones here at home.
They are keeping this “one Nation Under God” free from terrorism. They are helping a fledgling nation to gain their own freedom from terrorists. And every American and every Iraqi owes them and their families a great deal of gratitude. My prayer is that they all will be protected by our Father in Heaven and come home safely to those loving families when the conflict is over.
