Bonnie Powell and Jeana Cox opened Artistic Nails and Hair Designs earlier this year at 585 East Main in Price.
The new business offers a full line of hair and nail services. Everything from haircuts to pedicures. “We also offer unique nail designs including free hand and air-brush nail art. We have a new tanning bed and carry a full line of tanning lotions for all skins types,” says Powell and Cox.
Their grand opening is going on this week and they will be offering discounts on all services in the salon. Jeana has a 12 year cosmetology degree and is licensed through the state for hair and nails. She attends training seminars regularly. Bonnie has been doing nails for two years and received her education from the college of Eastern Utah, as well as a master technology degree from Salt Lake. She is currently student teaching at the CEU cosmetology department.
“It is very important to us that we educate our clients about sanitation and also how to take care of their enhancements,” say Cox and Powell, adding that education for hair and skin care is important.
