Ryan Powell

Ryan Powell and Brandy Frederick will be married on April 3.
The ceremony will be followed by a luncheon with family and friends in the Joseph Smith Memorial Buiding in Salt Lake City. No formal reception is planned.
Ryan is the son of Gregg and Darcey Powell of Cleveland. Brandy is the daughter of Kim and Loretta Frederick of Providence.


Melanie Garvin


Seth Oveson

Melanie Marisa Garvin, the daughter of Daniel and Linda Garvin, will be married to Seth Donovan Oveson, the son of Dennis and Debra Cox and the late Richard Oveson.
They will be married April 6 in the Manti LDS Temple.
Receptions will be presented in their honor on April 19 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Price 7th/8th LDS Ward and April 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the West Hills LDS Chapel in Cedar City.
Melanie is a graduate of Carbon High School and College of Eastern Utah. She served in the Guatemala-Guatemala City south mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Seth is a graduate of Canyonview High School and served in the Honduras-Tegucigalpa LDS mission.
The couple will make their home in Cedar City where they will continue their educations at Southern Utah University.


Yoshiko Nonaka


Jason Wells

Mr. and Mrs. Haruo Nonaka of Hiroshima, Japan, announce the marriage of their daughter, Yoshiko Nonaka, to Jason Wells, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Wells of Wellington and Fred Bullington of Bowling Green, Ky.
The couple will be married April 2 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
A reception in the newlyweds honor will be presented that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wellington 1st/4th LDS Ward building.
Yoshiko is currently attending Brigham Young University. Jason is a graduate of Carbon High and College of Eastern Utah. He is attending Utah Valley State College. Jason completed a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Japan.
The couple will reside in Provo.


Stephanie Marx


Marcus Heath

Gary and Jody Marx announce the marriage of their daughter, Stephanie KoLynn Marx, to Marcus Alonzo Heath, the son of Lee and Charleen Heath.
They will be married April 3 at 5 p.m. at the Price Elks Lodge, 23 East 100 North.
KoLynn is employed at Smith’s Phamacy as a pharmacy technician. Marcus is employed at Browning Design Engineer.
The couple will make their home in Ogden.

Kent and Mary Dawn Shorts announce the marriage of their daughter, Cammie Leigh Shorts, to Kirt Larry Jensen, the son of Larry and LaRae Jensen.
The couple will be sealed April 1 in the Manti LDS Temple.
The newlyweds will be honored April 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wellington LDS Stake Center, located at 935 East Main.


Jamill Wakefield


Frankie Tapia

Jordan Wakefield and Traci Wakefield announce the marriage of their daughter, Jamill Dena Wakefield, to Frankie Lee Vasquez Tapia, the son of Juan and Judy Tapia.
The couple will be married April 3 at the Carbon Country Club. A reception will follow the ceremony from 5 to 11 p.m.
The bride is a full-time mother to their daughter, Taci, and the groom is employed full-time at Elkhorn Construction in Price.
The family will make their home in Price.
