Kristy Lange cuddles her newborn son, Alex J., several hours after the tiny infant’s birth at Castleview Hospital. Alex was the first Carbon County baby born in 2004, surprising his parents Billy Joe and Kristy Lange when he showed up over two weeks prior to his due date of Jan. 17. Alex claimed the title of Carbon’s New Year’s Baby at 4:05 a.m. on Jan. 2, weighing in at six pounds 11 ounces and measuring 20 inches tall. He is the couple’s second child.
