Drug bust yields two suspects

Officers from the Carbon Metro Drug Task Force place Gordon O’Hara in a police cruiser for transport to the county jail after he was arrested on a number of drug charges.

Sunday morning was a busy time for the Carbon Metro Drug Task Force. At about 8 am agents Kyle Kulow and Brandon Sicilia, assisted by officers from the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office, the Price City Police Department and the Helper Police Department, executed a search warrant at a private residence in the area of 600 East and 600 South in Price.
The search allegedly yielded suspected methamphetamine, drug packaging materials, firearms, marijuana and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
Arrested at the scene were Gordon B. O’Harra, 56, and his wife, Donna B. O’Harra, 61. Both were booked at the Carbon County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone, with intent to distribute.
The warrant execution and arrests are part of an continuing investigation that has been going on for six months by the task force.
“These officers have been working on this for quite a while and they did a good job getting this all put together,” stated Carbon County Sheriff James Cordova on Monday morning.
