Fawn-Joy Wagner


PRICE – Fawn-Joy Wagner, age 44, died at home in Price on Oct. 24, 2003.
Born Oct. 17, 1959 in Price to Donald and Phyllis Davis Wagner.
Member of Notre Dame Catholic Church in Price, where she was a lifelong resident. Graduate of Carbon High School and College of Eastern Utah.
She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.
Survived by father, Price; two sisters, Nedra (Amadeo) Martinez, Price; Dot W. Black, Price; special nieces, Karen (Sonny) Basso, Destiny and Kaylie; special cat, Muffie; dog, Tulip; and a community of friends. Preceded in death by mother, Phyllis.
Funeral Mass Tuesday, Oct. 28, 10 a.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Vigil service, Monday evening, 7 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home where friends may call Tuesday prior to service. Committal service, Cliffview Cemetery, Price.


Cecelia Trujillo


EAST CARBON – Our beloved mother, Cecelia Maria Romero Trujillo, age 91, left this earth Oct. 23, 2003 while surrounded by all those who loved her very much. She passed away peacefully and at last is finding the peace she so richly deserved.
Born Oct. 12, 1912 on Rosa, N.M., to Juan Andres and Adelida Quintana Romero. Married Antonio “Tony” Domingo Trujillo Aug. 1, 1934 in Durango, Colo. He passed away Aug. 24, 2001.
Member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in East Carbon, where she resided since 1943.
Cecelia leaves behind a legacy of loved ones who will always remember her sweet smile and endless tales of days ago.
She enjoyed doing embroidery work, baking biscochitos and cooking for her loved ones.
She willl be missed by all of us and her memory will forever be in our hearts.
Mom was just so wonderful and she made us what we all became today. We will treasure all her love forever.
She is survived by children, George (Marcia) Martinez, Farmington, N.M.; Johnny (Rose) Martinez, Orem; Richard (Vicky) Trujillo, Kearns; Virginia Garcia, Magna; Gloria (Fred) Turpin, Murray; Ida Madrid, East Carbon; Drusilla (Bob) Martinez, East Carbon; Francine (Ray) Trevino, Magna; Mary Escoubat, Price; Josie (Leo) Martinez, Orem; sisters, Petra Mullenix, Ignacio, Colo.; Dora Gutierrez, Spanish Fork; and Mary Valencia, Roswell, N.M. Preceded in death by parents; son, Edward A. Trujillo; daughter, Esther Castillo; grandson, Louie Castillo; and three brothers and one sister.
Funeral Mass was Oct. 25 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Committal service, Valley View Cemetery, Sunnyside, under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home.


Barbara Cordova


PRICE – Barbara Anne Nix Rawlings Cordova, age 67, passed away Oct. 21, 2003 in Price.
Born Feb. 29, 1936 in Copperton, the daughter of Thomas Ernest and Elva Marie Green Nix.
She loved to travel and she loved Arizona, especially Quartzsite and Yuma.
She will be greatly missed by those whom she befriended during her travels to the south. She was a collector of elephants.
We will miss you.
Survived by companion, Richard Cordova; children, Mark (Ann) Rawlings, Pam (Steve) Lindsay, Terri (Terry) Wright, Scott (Julie) Rawlings and Lisa (Tom) Washburn; 34 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Richard A. Cordova, Phillip (Valarie) Cordova, David (Becky) Cordova, Debra (Larry) Madrigal, Raynel Cordova and James (Anna) Cordova; father-in-law, Ezequil Cordova; and sister-in-law, Ruby Cordova. Preceded in death by daughter, Penni Miller.
Funeral services were Oct. 25 at McDougal Funeral Home. Interment was in the Murray City Cemetery.
