Rescue personnel assist at the scene of an Oct. 13 single vehicle accident near Wellington which injured a local woman. The car was reportedly traveling eastbound when the vehicle veered off the road to the left, taking out a fence and nearly hitting a parked heavy duty trailer. The local motorist was transported to Castleview Hospital, but was conscious and talking with medical personnel at the scene immediately after the mishap. The mishap remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
