Frank Ularich
PRICE – Our loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Frank E. Ularich, age 84, passed away Aug. 26, 2003 in Price while surrounded by his family.
He was born Oct. 4, 1918 in Primero, Colo., to John and Mary (Jurricich) Ularich. Married Theresa Kokal Jan. 13, 1940 in Price. She died Feb. 26, 1970.
Frank retired from the UMWA and the state of Utah as a mine inspector. He was also employed by Price city as a police officer and D&RG Railroad. He was a member of the Catholic Church, 70-year member of the UMWA, Mason MW Grand Lodge F&AM of Utah, Croation Fraternal Union and Solvenian Home in Spring Glen.
One of the Frank’s greatest joys was spending time with his friends. He enjoyed doing the polka, camping, hunting and fishing at his cabin in Joes Valley. He spent several years as a volunteer at Helper Mining and Railroad Museum.
Survived by son, (Frank) Delores) Ularich, Phoeniz, Ariz.; grandchildren, John (Marcie), Spanish Fork; Tim and T’Ann, Salt Lake City; great-grandchildren, Landen and Colt; sister, Ann Slavensky, Butte, Mont.; and sister, Flora Kokal, Spring Glen. Also survived by a special friend, Aldene, and a community of loving family and friends. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Theresa; son, John; brothers, Tony Kerbovich and John Ularich; sisters, Angie Zorn and Mary Klarich.

At Frank’s request, there will be no services. An open house celebrating his life is planned for friends and family Sept. 6 from 2 to 6 p.m. at his home, 79 W. 400 South, Price.

Christopher L. Gomez
SPRINGVILLE-Christopher Leonard Gomez, 47, passed away peacefully in his sleep the morning of Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003, at his home in Springville.
He was born Jan. 7, 1956 in Price to Ben and Dolores Gonzales Gomez. He was a loving husband to his sweetheart of seven years, Hollie J. Hilton, who he married July 8, 2000. He was also a devoted father to his children, Ben, Chance, Dustin, Chantell, Nicole and Matthew.
His passion for music was shared with everyone he knew, but it was his talent for playing the drums that truly set him apart.
He loved to commune with nature and found peace in the outdoors.
Chris served in the U.S. Armed Forces from 1978 to 1998, earning the rank of E5 sergeant. He was honorably discharged from the C-Battery in Spanish Fork. He had a great love of country and a loyalty to all.He was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on July 27, 2003. He had a strong personal relationship with the Savior and a beautiful growing testimony.
He is survived by seven of 12 siblings, David Gonzales, Pat Gomez, James Gomez, Leo Gomez, Berdine Shannon, Bernadine Johnson, Irene Rogerson; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews as well as other extended family members, who will sorely miss him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Dolores Gomez; brothers: Ralph Gomez and Tony Gomez; sisters, Theresa Gomez and Benita Gomez; and Paula Jackson Gomez, his previous wife.
Chris will forever remain in the hearts of those who love him.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 30, at noon at the Spring Creek 5th LDS Ward Chapel, 860 E. 200 North, Springville. A viewing will at the church prior to services from 9:45 to 11:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery with military honors by the Spanish Fork American Legion.
