Young dancers are part of the new dance studio

Dance Technica is a dance studio that teaches students from three years of age and up the fundamentals of jazz, tap, ballet, and pointe.
Dance Technica offers specialty dance classes free of charge to enrolled students. Each month a one-hour free class is offered to registered students eight years and older, with a new style of dance being introduced each time. This provides the students with the opportunity to become familiar with a variety of dance styles and introduces more styles of dance into each dancer’s repertoire.
Dance Technica is owned and operated by Anjelena Cook and Tori Frandsen. Anjelena is presently the CEU Eagle Dance Team advisor and has been teaching drill team for the past seven years. Cook successfully completed the NXLevel course and was awarded a business grant through Southeastern Utah Small Business Investment Fund.
Frandsen was formerly a ballet, jazz, and tap teacher at CEU and is presently Carbon High School’s drill team advisor. Both instructors have had years of training in ballet, jazz, modern, precision, hip-hop, and various other forms of dance.
