Glenda Gentry


PRICE – Glenda Estella Rich Gentry, age 70, passed away July 1, 2003 at her home.
She was born Aug. 3, 1932 in Price to Glen and Estella Thompson Rich. Married William “Charley” Gentry Nov. 28, 1953 in Grand Junction, Colo. He died June 18, 1999.
Member LDS Church. Glenda was a lifelong resident of Carbon County and former employee of Plateau Coal. She was a loving mother who devoted her life to her family.
Survived by four sons and spouses, Robert A. (Lorraine) Gentry, William G. Gentry, Craig G. (Janice) Gentry, all of Price; Kim C. (Kristi) Gentry, Idaho; brother, DeLyne (Margie) Rich, Salt Lake City; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; son, Delmont; two brothers, Darwin and Delbert Rich.
Funeral service Tuesday, July 8, 11 a.m., Price 6th LDS Ward Chapel. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home Monday evening, 7 to 9 p.m., and at the church Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Price City Cemetery.


Thelma Mills


HUNTINGTON-Thelma McArthur Mills, age 84, passed away July 2, 2003 at home in Huntington surrounded by her family.
She was born Aug. 6, 1918 in Lawrence to Cyril and Dortha A. Day McArthur. She married Homer C. Mills Oct. 28, 1938 in Lawrence, later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.
As an active member of the LDS Church, she held numerous callings.
Above all else, she loved her family, for whom she toiled countless hours. Each family member has a quilt or afghan she made for them with love in every stitch. She worked side by side with her husband raising her family, working on the farm and taking care of their restaurant (Old Homestead) in Huntington. She spent many memorable hours camping and fishing with her family.
As an active member of the community, she co-founded Heritage Days in Huntington and the Emery County Chamber of Commerce.
She leaves behind many friends, family and a legacy that will be long remembered.
Thelma is survived by her children, Sherron (Dan) Pulli, Mac (Linda) Mills and Bob (Lorraine) Mills, all of Huntington; seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Shirl McArthur; sister, Gladys Larson; numerous special nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband; infant son, William Cyril; and daughter-in-law, DeAnn.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 5, at 11 a.m. at the Huntington LDS Stake Center, where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Huntington Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the LDS Church Perpetual Education Fund or to a scholarship of your choice.

PRICE – Graveside services for John B. Grako will be conducted Saturday, July 5, at 12:30 p.m. at the Price City Cemetery.
