Richard and Linda Thayn announce the marriage of their daughter, BreAna Nichol Thayn, to Zeph Matthew Tucker, the son of Ernie and Nancy Tucker.
The couple will be wed May 17.
A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor that evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Price Elks Lodge, located at 23 East 100 North. Dancing will follow until 11 p.m.


Shelly Swasey


Jonathan Badger

Roger and Lana Swasey of Price announce the marriage of their daughter, Shelly Swasey, to Jonathan Badger, the son of Leon and Shari Badger of Logan.
The couple will be married May 15 in the Manti LDS Temple. A reception honoring the newlyweds will be presented that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Price LDS Institute building, 380 East 400 North. An open house is planned May 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Alumni Room at Utah State University, 7500 Old Main Hill, Logan.
Shelly graduated from Carbon High School in 1998 and College of Eastern Utah in 2000. She graduated from USU with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, with an emphasis in public relations. Jonathan graduated from Logan High School in 1996 and served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Bordeaux, France. He graduated from USU with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Miranda Dawn Sorensen and Darren R. Fillmore announce their marriage on May 17.
A reception honoring the newlyweds will follow from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Springville 4th LDS Ward Chapel, located at 355 East Center Street.
Miranda is the daughter of Todd and Elaine Olsen of Springville and Jonathan and Cheryl Sorensen of Roosevelt. She is a 2000 graduate of Union High School and a 2003 graduate of the registered nursing program at College of Eastern Utah. Darren is the son of Rosann Fillmore of Orangeville and Roy Fillmore of Salt Lake City. He is a 1998 graduate of Emery High and a 2002 graduate of CEU. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Guayaquil, Ecuador. He is studying biological engineering at Utah State University.
The couple will make their home in Logan.

Felicia Ann Nowak of Sunnyside and Jared Michael Jones of Price will be married May 14 in the Bountiful LDS Temple.
Felicia is the daughter of Tony and Daleone Martin of Wendover, Nev., and Jeff and Hazel Nowak of Philadelphia, Pa. Jared is the son of Ellen Jones of Price and Elmer and Marie Jones of LaVerkin.
A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor May 16 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Wellington LDS Stake Center.
The couple will make their home in Sunnyside while they finish their educations.

Amanda K. Baker and J. Brandon Pratt have chosen to be married May 17.
The couple will be married at 1 p.m. at the Desert Edge Christian Chapel, located at 500 South Main in Huntington.
A reception for family and friends will be presented in the newlyweds honor following the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Robert Baker of Orangeville and Sharon and Kim Earl of Huntington. Parents of the groom are Kathy Pratt of Cleveland and Mark Pratt of Salt Lake City.

Jenilee is a graduate of Ben Lomond High and a 2003 graduate of College of Eastern Utah. Seth is a graduate of Carbon High and served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New Jersey.

RyLee is a 2001 graduate of Duchene High School and a 2003 graduate of College of Eastern Utah. Chad is a 2001 graduate of Carbon High School.
The couple plan to continue their educations at Provo College.

The bride is the daughter of the late Scott Watson and Blaine and Sheri Kemp of Cokeville, Wyo. Parents of the groom are Mark and Peggy Callahan of Helper.
An open house will be presented in the newlyweds honor May 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Price River Parkway in Helper.
The couple will make their home in Ogden, where they are attending Weber State University.

Wayne Bell, the son of Randy and LeAnn Bell, maried Karen Whittle, the daughter of Deon and Melanie Whittle, May 10 in the Mount Timpanogos LDS Temple.
A reception was presented in the newlyweds honor in Riverton. An open house is planned May 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Huntington 1st/5th LDS Ward Chapel, located at 115 South 400 East.
The couple will make their home in Midvale.
