A Carbon athlete scrambles for the ball during an early season game.

The Carbon Dino soccer team continues to heat things up on the field.
The team competed in two games last week and looks forward to returning home this Friday to host Wasatch Academy.
The first game the Dinos participated in last week was against Grand. The game was close, but the Carbon team ended on the short end of the stick by the final, 3-2.
In this match up, Dino athlete, Andrew Bjork scored both goals for the Dinos.
Following the loss to Grand, the team moved on to compete against Lehi.
In this game, the Dino struggled as they were defeated, 7-0 by the Pioneers.
The Dinos current season record stands at 1-7-1.
The team continues to improve with each ball game and determination is on their side.
