It has been wonderful to see the American and Utah State flags up on main street. I hope they stay up.
My son is n the Army full time and right now he is in Kuwait. It has been very hard having him there for myself as it is with others in town who have loved ones in the service.
What I would really like to see, however, is yellow ribbons up all around town. It would help to show our support for them and it would also help the moms and dads, husbands and wives, sisters and brothers who have family members in the military. It would show how much Carbon County is behind the men and women who are serving their country.
I know it is not always everyone’s choice to go to war, but I think everyone needs to show their support for the troops and this would be a good way to do it.
