While safety on US 6 isn’t always on everyone’s minds, it is on the minds of the Utah Department of Transportation which will be holding a public meeting on March 24 at 6 p.m. in the Price City Hall.
The meeting will concern long range transportation issues which will be included in UDOT’s “Transporation 2030 Plan,” a 25 year guide for transporation investments in and along Utah’s 6000 miles of roads.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting and voice the comments and concerns about the highways around and in the Price area or written comments can be submitted by mail to the Utah Department of Transporation, Transporation 2030, P.O. Box 143600, Salt Lake City, Utah 84114. In addition residents may call (801) 965-4129 or if they wish to to submit by e-mail they may log on to the UDOT long range planning website at www.udot.utah.gov/progdev/trans2030.
Citizen involvement is critical as UDOT prepares to evaluate and prioritize the state’s transportation needs for the future.
