Spring soccer action is enjoyed by the Carbon Dinos each year.

The spring season finds the Carbon High boys soccer team running across the field and competing against teams from across the state. The warm weather brings out the best soccer action and this year should be no different.
The Dinos officially kicked off the preseaon this past week as the team competed in two road games.
The first of which was played last Friday as the Dinos took on Hurricane. The Carbon squad held on tight and played quite well. By the end of the game however, the Dinos had lost to Hurricane, 2-0.
The team then moved on to compete against Snow Canyon last Saturday.
The Dinos had a difficult time keeping control of the ball and Snow Canyon capitalized on this and defeated Carbon, 8-0.
With two losses under their collar, the Dinos look to continue improving as they prepare for the regular season.
It takes time for a team to develop the skills neccesary to become a top soccer club, and the preseason is the time that each team needs to gain the confidence and skills needed for a successful season.
The next game on the Dinos agenda will take place this Friday as the team hits the road to take on Union High School.
The first home game the Dinos will host will take place next Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. as the Carbon team competes for the first time on their new field located at the newly constructed high school track.
