Shawna Carroll
Southern Utah University recently announced that Shawna Lynne Carroll obtained the degree of bachelor of science in elementary education with a minor in early childhood education.
She graduated magna cum laude.
Shawna is a graduate of Carbon High School and College of Eastern Utah.
She is the daughter of Jeff and Connie Smith of Carbonville. She and her husband, Ben, reside in Castle Dale.
Ashlee Miller
Ashlee Miller recently graduated from Brigham Young University as valedictorian of the school of social work. She was later called to serve in the Washington-Kennewick Spanish-speaking mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Sister Miller entered the missionary training center Nov. 17 and the mission field Jan. 21. She is the daughter of Leonard and Jan Miller.
