Herb and Jean Thomas of Ferron announce the marriage of their daughter, Melanie Alise Thomas, to Jacob Beau Stoker, the son of Jim and Micah Stoker of Riverton and the grandson of Andrew and Wilma Barnett.
They were married Jan. 2 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception was presented in their honor Jan. 3 in Riverton. An open house is planned Jan. 11 from 6:12 to 8:15 p.m. at 115 S. 400 East, Huntington.
Melanie is a 2000 graduate of Emery High and a 2002 graduate of College of Eastern Utah. She is attending CEU on a cosmetology scholarship. Beau is a 2000 graduate of Bingham High and is attending CEU on a baseball scholarship.
The couple plan to reside in Price.
