NXLevel graduates 17 in recent class

The Small Business Development Center held their sixth graduation a couple weeks ago at Marie’s. There were 17 graduates through the NXLeveL Business Training Course. NXLeveL teaches business owners or perspective business owners the fundamentals of business planning: management, marketing and financial statement preparation.
The graduates included Jed Behling, Amy Sehestedt, Anjelena Cook,Karrie Behling, Shellet Rowley, Terry Davis, Bret Cammans, Karen Davis, Buddy Byrge, Kathlene Royster, Jody Crossley, Char Kelly, Willie Crossley, Kelsey Cripps, Fred Passarella, Darlene Harvel and Bruce Quinton. Bart Hansen from Zion’s Bank was the guest speaker and Brett Behling, Assistant Director Economic Development was also there.
Classes began in October of 2000 and since the first graduating class 38 businesses and 150 people have gone through the program. Part of the class is to create a business plan, which is then used as the application for funding through the South Eastern Utah Small business Investment Fund.
