Crews assist at the scene of a single-vehicle mishap Nov. 15 on Ridge Road. At about 2 p.m. last Friday, Gerald Warham, 65 of Wellington, was reportedly driving a logging truck eastbound and glanced to the left. When Warham looked back at the road, the logging truck was purportedly headed onto the shoulder. The driver tried to correct the tractor’s direction without tilting the load, but hit an embankment. The impact tipped the trailer , spilling logs along the side of the road for about 70 feet. Warham was transported to Castleview Hospital with minor injuries and released. According to Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Joe Christman, Warham indicated that he was not wearing a safety restraint device when the accident occurred near mile post two on Ridge Road.
