James Utley, Nichole Chesley, Jenafer Henrie, Lacey Pugliese and Kaylee Hughes are the winners of the Proud to be an American writing contest sponsored by Dorr Hanson. The sixth graders entered stories and poetry in the competition. Hanson awarded three $50 savings bonds and two $10 cash prizes to the contest winners.
