Golden Eagles volleyball squad hosts Scenic West teams

After competing for several weeks on the road, the College of Eastern Utah women’s volleyball team returned home to host two Scenic West Athletic Conference games. The opening game pitted the Golden Eagles against the UVSC Wolverines. The action was fast paced and the competiton was intense. Despite giving their best effort, the Eagles fell to UVSC 0-3 by the final scores of 30-25, 30-17, 30-13. The following night, the Eagles hosted Salt Lake Community College. Once again the Eagles failed to chalk up a win as they lost 30-24, 30-22, 30-14. The Eagles record stands at 1-9 against SWAC teams and 10-17 overall. The Eagles will compete at home Nov. 1 against Southern Idaho and Nov. 2 against NIC. Friday’s game will begin at 7 p.m. while Saturaday’s game will take place at 3 p.m.
