Senior Tony McFarland was considered one of the best senior baseball players in the 1A ranks this year.
Senior Austin Preston was a stalwart at bat as well as one of the best pitchers in Region 18.
Samson Leonard was the stalwart catcher for the Vikings in almost every game they played this year.

The East Carbon baseball team may not have gone all the way this year, but three of their players did. The Deseret News announced on Wednesday that two seniors and one junior from the team made their all-state list this year.
Seniors Tony McFarland and Austin Preston, along with junior Samson Leonard were named to the squad.
East Carbon High is in the 1A division of the Utah High School Athletic Association’s five leagues. Each crowns a baseball champion yearly, but because most 1A schools are too small to field teams for football, their baseball schedule is played in the fall.
The 1A state tournament finished a couple of weeks ago, with Wayne winning over Waterford in the championship game.
East Carbon lost in the semi-finals against the eventual champion.
