Three local karate students recently competed in the All-American Championship tournament which was hosted at Woods Cross High School in Salt Lake City. Cheylee Montgomery took home first place honors in kata and third place in kumite in the brown belt category. Blue belt students Sharon Moosman and Megan Dayley also competed and both students finished in second place in kata and third place in kumite. The karate students are instructed by Mike Martinez and Kevin Jewkes.
