Scott Halverson recently completed a 300 game at the Country Lanes bowling alley in Carbonville. This is the second 300 game of the year for the 21-year old Carbon County resident.
Carbon Dino signs contract to play football at University of Utah.
Carbon High Dino senior Jan Jorgensen recently agreed to attend the University of Utah where he will play football for Ron McBride.
After talking with several colleges including Wyoming and Idaho State, Jorgensen decided to commit himself to the Utes.
Although Jorgensen will continue his football career with the Utes, he does plan on serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints before competing for the university.
With only four more regular season games in store for the Carbon Dinos, Jorgensen will continue to prepare for his college career as he mans the quarterback position for the Dinos.
It is unknown at this time whether Jorgensen will play this position with the Utes, but it is a sure thing that he will begin his college career in a bright red jersey in his home state of Utah.
