Janine Sorensen washes off the grave stone of a loved one in the Scofield Cemetary to be sure the site that houses many of her relatives continues to have dignity year round. While many people attend to the graves of family and friends on such designated days as Memorial Day and Veterans Day, other families take a great deal of time to care for the burial sites of loved ones all year long.
“We just do this every time we come up here,” says Sorenson. “We want this to continue to look nice for our family.”
