Clyde Johnson


HUNTINGTON – Clyde Upton Johnson, age 96, passed away Aug. 12, 2002 in Price.
He was born Aug. 6, 1906 in Huntington to Lewis William and Louisa Westover Johnson.
He worked as an auto mechanic and barber in Huntington for many years.
He enjoyed music and sang in the Huntington Glee Club and played in the senior citizens kitchen band.
He is survived by one brother, Kenneth Johnson of Idaho; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will be at Fausett Mortuary, Castle Dale Monday, Aug. 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. in the Huntington cemetery.


Cleland Oviatt


ELMO/PRICE – Cleland F. Oviatt, age 88, passed away Aug. 13, 2002 in Price.
He was born May 21, 1914 in Elmo to Wilford F. and Ella Ann Minchey
He worked all his life doing what he loved; farming and ranching. He was also a Braves fan and loved watching little league.
He is survived by sister, Rissa Staker, Salt Lake; brothers, LaVon “Pete” and LaWella Oviatt, Price; Frank O. and Marie Oviatt, Cleveland; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two sisters, Venice Lucille Cramer and Dellis LaRee Vogrinec.
Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 16, 11 a.m., at Fausett Mortuary in Price where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial, Cleveland cemetery.
