Management changes at Discovery Research

Carole Wright and Bill Maikranz were recently named new managers of Discovery Research Groups Price Call center.

Discovery Research Group announced today a change in management at its Price call center and the promotion of another Carbon County based employee to the company’s executive staff.
Carole Wright, formerly operations manager at the center has been promoted to director of telephone operations with responsibility for the company’s five call centers. Ms. Wright joined Discovery in 1992 as operations manager of the company’s Price center. Under her leadership, the center grew from its fledgling 12 interviewer stations to its current size of 94 stations. In her new position, Ms. Wright will utilize the hiring, training, and day-to-day management skills mastered in Price to provide leadership to Discovery Research Group’s other centers located throughout the western United States.
Bill Maikranz is the new operations manager for the Price center. A part of the Discovery Research Group team since 1997, Mr. Maikranz began his career at the company’s Price center where he was a supervisor and group manager. He transferred to the company’s Twin Falls, Idaho center where he served as operations manager until this recent change, Under his leadership Twin Falls grew from, 24 interviewing stations to 90 stations in less than one year. As operations manager at Price, Mr. Maikranz will be responsible for hiring, training and day-to-day management. Mr. Maikranz received his BA degree in Business Administration from Simpson College in Redding, Calif.

The talents and abilities of these two individuals are much appreciated and will be needed moving forward as the company continues to grow,”
The Price center is one of five centers operated by Discovery Research Group in the western United States, the Price center employs approximately 220 people, making it one of the largest employers in the Price area. The center’s primary function is to conduct market research via the telephone for leading US companies.
