Inspired by the rock art sites and landscapes of Utah, Mark Vranesh creates his work using water color on paper and collage techniques to reflect his impressions of the ancient ones. His exhibit will open at the CEU Prehistoric Museum at 155 East Main, in Price June 6th and run through August 26th.
An open house will be held Thursday, June 6th from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Vranesh’s new work combines natural fiber weaving and handmade papers with his collage art. Using weaving materials and methods of the native peoples, he incorporates his basketry and loom weaving techniques within his work.
