Irish born Ivan Kelly moved to Canada in 1972 and began painting “on location” in the Rocky Mountains. He specializes in rich colors and moods from sun/shadow contrasts in his landscape and marine oil paintings. He has received numerous awards for his work including honors from the American Society of Marine Artists and the Winsor-Newton Award of Excellence from the Oil Painters of America.
