Pat Robertson, a cancer survivor, speaks to a crowd of local relay for life supporters. The presentation was part of the kickoff for the event which raises awareness and works with the community to fight cancer. As part of the 2002 activities, relay for life supporters will participate in the annual walk for life event. The walk for life is slated in June, along with the selling luminaries as part of the event. The luminaries will displayed be in honor of the patients who survived cancer or for the victims who lost the battle with the deadly disease.
