She instilled in them the joy and creativity of hard work. She served in the Relief Society for many years as the “work day” leader.
After her family grew and moved (at one time, seven children living in seven different states), she had the opportunity of traveling to the east and west coasts, England and Hawaii. Her husband of 67 years died in 1997. A year later, Rhea moved to Orem to live with her daughter, Mary.
Rhea’s greatest joy was her grand posterity.

Our hearts were nearly broken. You fought so hard to stay. It breaks our hearts to see you go. But you didn’t go alone, for part of us went with you the day God took you home.
