Bethel 3 Job’s Daughters International of Price gathered after their meeting on Sunday to work on their current community service project, which is to bag food for the “Carbon Caring for Kids” program. This program provides weekend meals for those children in Carbon County who are on free breakfast and lunch at their school. The program recently has expanded into providing family packs to help entire families with weekend meals.
Bridget Dalpiaz Hill has two daughters in the Bethel, and upon hearing that Bethel 3 is always looking for new community services projects, she suggested Carbon Caring for Kids. The Daughters of Bethel 3 have met several times over the past month in order to prepare and bag the weekend meal packages.
In the month of March, the Sun Advocate ran a subscription special, encouraging people to bring specific items into the paper to assist in this project. Carbon Caring for Kids is in need of assistance throughout the year. You can drop off items at the following locations: Sun Advocate, Rocky Mountain Care, Tougher Gym, Jake Mellor Financial, Loveless Ash or the Loveless Home at 1551 W 360 N, Price.
