Indian Canyon accident

On Thursday afternoon at approximately 1:00 p.m. an older women, reportedly from Duchesne, UT was southbound on highway 191, Indian Canyon Road when her car came out of a sharp turn in the road just south of the Emma Park Road turnoff, did a 180 degree turn before sliding off the shoulder of the road and down the embankment for 100 feet. The car came to rest next to some two and three foot high boulders. She was taken from the car and transported about a half mile away to a location near the Emma Park road turnoff where she was put aboard the Life Flight helicopter before being transported to the University of Utah hospital. Her name has not yet been released. The accident is still under investigation by the Utah Highway Patrol.
