I would be interested to hear why Carbon County Clerk Seth Oveson decided to unilaterally conduct a primary election for Price City Council when state election law is very clear that a primary election is and was not to be held for the two seats up for election.
I also question the Sun Advocate ‘s lack of professionalism and lighthearted approach to publishing the votes from a non existent primary election and calling it a “personality ” contest. I for one take the municipal election as serious and not a popularity contest and urge you to vote for a candidate for Price City Council in the general election in November.
