Ruth S. Cox, born April 22, 1925, was the 7th of 16 children born to Jesse R. and Edna Stilson Sitterud in Kenilworth, UT. Her family later moved to Orangeville where she spent the remainder of her 90 years. Ruth returned home to the arms of her loving Father in Heaven and sweetheart Fred Cox on February 12, 2016.
She married her sweetheart, Fred Fail Cox on September 16, 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband Fred Fail Cox, son Leonard Fred Cox, son-in-law Kerry Grange, daughter-in-law Sheri Cox, 2 great grandsons and 6 siblings.
A viewing will be held Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 15, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Orangeville 1st Ward Chapel. There will be a viewing from 10:00 – 10:45 am prior to services at the church.
