The Aug. 22 Desert Thunder race results came down as follows. Pure Stock, in first was #42B, Jeremy Birch; second was #15, Troy Sweeten and in third was #81, Dale Smith. Mini Stock, in first was #417, Glade Longmore; second was #23R, Tryrel Fox and finishing in third was #84, Terence Pine. Trucks, in first was #27, Jeremy Robinson; second was #50, Robert Conner and third was #7, Victoria Chavez. Sports Modified, in first was #20B, J.R. Herrera; in second was #23H, Hubert Wilson; Mini Sport, in first was #70, Nick Cummings; in second was #50, Barry Rupp and finishing in third was #25, Scott Hardman. In the Modified series the finish came down with #28, Colten Vanderherp in first; #220, Ryan Dimick in second and #18, Rick Spangler in third.
At the Aug. 23 event, Pure Stock was taken by #66, Brett Alderson with #351, Scott Bradford taking second and #81, Dale Smith taking third. In the Mini Stock, #48, Douglas Petersen took first with #23P, Tyrel Fox taking second and #417 Glade Longmore taking third. In the Trucks, #27, Jeremy Robinson took first, with #50 Robert Conner coming in second and #691, Tobby Reed rounding out the top three. In Sports Modified, #23H, Hubert Wilson took first with #81, Dale Smith moving up one spot to second and #20D, Rusty Hansen finishing third. In the Street Stock, #54D, John Kundmueller brought home first with #49, Dave O’Brien taking second and #33, Jim Fisher taking third. In the Mini Sprint, first went to #25, Scott Hardman, with #70 Nick Cummings in second place and #50 Barry Rupp in third. To finish the event, #28 Colton Vanderherp took home first place with #20C, Chase Hansen taking second and #18, Rick Spangler finishing third.
