Riders from all over the state showed up to participate in the third annual trailfest, put on by the Price Area Single Track Society (PASS). Riders reported enjoying the local tracks because of their varied nature. Calm and serene tracks suddenly turn to physically challenging terrain. The local tracks have gained a reputation all over the state for their ‘cackle factor’ as well as their mental challenge. |
As spring came into full bloom this weekend the Price Area Single Track Association conducted its third annual trailfest. The event included multiple rides on April 18 and 19 along with a Saturday movie premier at the Price Civic Auditorium.
The film titled “Kranked 7 The Cackle Factor,” premiered in Price along with only 22 other cities nation wide.
Along with the premier the festival is used as a trail building event where local and state riders donate their time and muscle to add to Price’s ever expanding trail system. This year trail riders used their time to track over the damage that was caused when the BLM was forced to burn a tree line that defined a portion of the single track.
