County Recreation hosted their annual 5k run in Helper Saturday, August 16 in conjunction with Helper Arts Festival.
There were 46 participants who ran in the race. Coming in first place with a time of 18:18 was 17 year old Jared Richens, second place went to 17 year old Jordan Tatton with a time of 18:32 and coming in third was 15 year old Kaleb Kulow just a second behind Tatton at 18:33.
Many of the top finishers are on this year’s Carbon High Cross Country team. They will be running in a home meet on September 24th. Start time for the race will be at 4 p.m. on the Carbon High Track.
