Wellington Police Officer Kelly Maynes directs emergency personnel following a single car rollover on U.S. Highway 123. According to East Carbon Police Sgt. Phillip Holt, who was the first responding officer at the scene, 16 year old Karen Hopkins was ejected a short distance from the vehicle approximately a quarter mile west of ECDC. Hopkins was reportedly taken to Castleview Hospital and then life flighted to University of Utah Hospital where she later died from injuries received during the accident.
