Dominic and Pam Pero of Spring Glen and Scott and Charlotte MacKnight of Price announce the marriage of their daughter, Kelly Pero, to Jesse Valdez, the son of Ernest and Robyn Valdez of Salt Lake City and Gust and Tara Kalatzes of Price.
The couple will be married June 9 at Notre Catholic Dame Church in Price.
Family and friends will honor the newlyweds at a reception from 7 to 9 p.m. that evening at Carbon Country Club.
Kelly and Jesse are graduates of Carbon High School. Kelly graduated in 1999 from College of Eastern Utah with a licensed practical nursing degree and in 2004 with a registered nursing degree. She is employed as an operating room nurse. Jesse owns a local contracting business.
The couple will make their home in Price.

Mickie Maughan and Nathan Jensen will be married June 2 at the Bear Creek Campground in Huntington Canyon.
Parents of the bride are Dee and Renae Fillmore, and Curtis and Boe Taylor. Parents of the groom are Merland and Loretta Jensen.
April Moosman

Boyd and Mary Ann Moosman of Elmo and Michelle Romero of Price announce the marriage of their daughter, April Moosman, to Darrell Swasey, the son of Ted and Larena Swasey of Ferron.
They will be married June 2.
A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Carbon Country Club. Dancing will follow.
April is a 2007 graduate of Emery High and plans to attend College of Eastern Utah in the fall. Darrell is a 2006 graduate of Emery High and is employed with Natco in Vernal.
The couple will make their home in Price.
