Jordan Baker


CLAWSON – Jordan Derek Baker, age 25, passed away Oct. 17, 2006 in Clawson.
He was born March 9, 1981 in Logan, to Kaye Auger Komar and fathered by Carl Baker. Jordan married Jessica Marie September 14, 2002 in Castle Dale.
Jordan loved golfing and fishing. He also cherished and loved the time he spent hanging out with his family.
Jordan is survived by wife and son, Jessica and Brayden Baker of Ferron; sisters, Sarah Marshal of Ferron; Nick and Holli Tuttle of Castle Dale; Frankie Komar and Trevor Komar.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 21, 1 p.m., at the old Ferron LDS Chapel. A viewing will be held Friday, Oct. 20, 6 to 8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale and also one hour prior to the services on Saturday. Burial, Ferron cemetery.


Jimmy Allred


CLEVELAND – Jimmy Lawayne Allred, age 69, passed away Oct. 10, 2006 in Price.
He was born Nov. 20, 1936 in Cleveland,to Doyle and Anna Curtis Allred. He was the oldest of eight children. Married Sally Thorngren, later divorced. Married Paula Hinkins Cordner, later divorced. Married Patsy Black Anderson Nov. 13, 1971.
Jimmy was born and raised on the family farm and remained a farmer his entire life. His jobs as a construction worker and uranium miner were the only things that took him away from Emery County soil for very long. Taking a job in the coal mines brought him back and let him build on the lifelong passion he had as a farmer, sheepman and cattle rancher.
Survived by wife, Patsy, Cleveland; sons, Kip (Kerri), Orangeville; Dorian, Kearns; J.K. (Kimalee), Cleveland; stepdaughter, Laura Anderson, American Fork; stepson, Larry Cordner, West Valley; brothers, Royce (Elaine), Bill (Dixie), Arch (Marilyn), all of Cleveland; Pat, Ferron; sisters, Reba (Marvin) Hansen, Elmo; Roanna (Bus) Rich, Cleveland; Leta Mae (David) Robertson, Orangeville; and grandchildren, Kade, Karidon, KC, Lacey, Kameron, Klint and Kanyon. Also survived by special cousin, Mike (Sarah) and Brylei Allred, Clawson; and mother-in-law, Merlin Black, Huntington. Preceded in death by parents; grandson, Laramy; and father-in-law, Rex Black.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 14, noon, at the Cleveland church building under the direction of Fausett Mortuary, with a viewing one hour prior to services. A viewing will also be Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Cleveland church.


Shala Revas


FERRON/KAYSVILLE- Shala Diane Prettyman Revas, 32, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born April 11, 1974 in Salt Lake City, the daughter of John H. and Patricia Erickson Prettyman. Shala married Steven Edward Revas Dec. 16, 1994 in West Valley City.
She graduated from Tonopah High School Class of 1992 in Nevada. She enjoyed calligraphy, scrap booking, volleyball, boating, crafts, baking, flower arranging, family gatherings, and time with Steve and her children.
Surviving are husband, Steve Edward Revas; son, Skyler Steven; daughter, Sabra Dee Anne, Kaysville; parents, Brett J. and Patty Hansen, West Valley City; Jack Prettyman, Ferron; grandmother, Betty Lena Prettyman, Emery; two brothers, John H. Prettyman, Salt Lake City; Burke Jackson Prettyman, Salt Lake City; three sisters, Melissa Jo Trowbridge, Wellington; Shayna Renee Johnson, Saratoga Springs; and DeeAnna Grace Prettyman, West Valley City. Preceded in death by grandparents, Wayne H. and Gladys Erickson; and Bud Ernest Prettyman.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 21, 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Friday, 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Kaysville city cemetery. Contributions may be made to a trust in Shala’s name at Wells Fargo Bank.
