Price police and Utah Highway Patrol troopers clear the scene of an accident on Carbon Avenue last Thursday afternoon.
According to Price Officer Brian Judd, two witnesses at the scene of the Sept. 7 accident indicated that a maroon Dodge caravan reportedly failed to yield before turing left from 400 South and collided with a southbound Geo Tracker on Carbon Avenue. Judd cited the van driver for failure to yield to oncoming traffic in connection with the accident.
The couple traveling in the van were taken to Castleview Hospital with arm and neck injuries, indicated Judd. Two occupants in the Tracker were also taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
The two-vehicle accident stopped traffic in both directions of travel for more than half an hour.
