Pat Worley measures the the spacing on a grave marker for Margueritte Draper, who passed away in December. Worley explained that Margueritte’s husband, Arthur, passed away more than three decades ago and the headstone has been in place for years. In cases where the headstone was installed prior to the death of one of the individuals listed on the marker, monument companies go to the cemetery to make necessary changes, rather than removing the entire stone, which can create problems with ground settling and risks damage to the marker.
