Students in Carol Carlson’s class at Wellington Elementary greet Chimmy the horse ridden by Lance Lacotta on Tuesday morning. Carson had her husband bring a horse to school so she could demonstrate a presentation about her “favorite things.” The class will use the same theme in PowerPoint presentations next week. During the presentation, each student in the class was given the opportunity to take a short ride on the horse and learned to rope a calf.
